Secretariat Assistants' Training Course concludes

SRINAGAR, Dec 8: Two-month long Secretariat Assistants' Training Course organized J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (J&K IMPARD) concluded here today.
Director General, J&K IMPARD, Saurabh Bhaghat presided over the valedictory function.
The Training Course was started on October 11th, 2021. It was attended by one batch comprising of one hundred and sixty-five (165) out of a total of 560 Senior Assistants. These participants were divided into two batches due to Covid-19 restrictions because accommodating all the participants in one Hall would violate Covid protocols, which were duly observed during the Valedictory function.
Speaking on the occasion, Saurabh Bhagat, Director General, congratulated the participants on having completed their training successfully. He told them that the purpose of Secretariat Assistants Training Course is to prepare frontline functionaries such as Senior Assistants to perform their duties effectively.
Through this Training Course the participants are taught office rules and regulations covered under subjects like J&K Civil Service Regulations (CSR); Budget Manual; General Financial Rules-(GFR)-2017; Conduct Rules; Classification, Control, & Appeal Rules; Secretariat Manual; Office Ethics; etc. This enables frontline functionaries to perform their duties within the scope of office rules.
The Director General also informed the participants that this Training Course will additionally equip them better to face Departmental Examination with confidence and qualifying the required Departmental Examination will make them eligible for promotion.
The Director General also informed the participants that one of the important purposes of this Training Course is to allow them to interact with one another in a education friendly atmosphere at J&K IMPARD.
