Gupkar leaders instigating masses for violence: Suri | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 8: "The recent developments wherein former Chief Ministers of J&K including Farooq Abdullah asked people to prepare for sacrifices for the restoration of Article 370 and another in which Mehbooba Mufti staged a sit in at Delhi with a handful of failed leaders, are indicative of the fact that these frustrated leaders are trying to resort to any means to gain some foothold in J&K's political arena". This was stated by BJP J&K Executive Member Raman Suri, who said that earlier also former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had tried to instigate people on the basis of region and religion, which exposes their nefarious designs of playing dirty politics which these leaders had always been doing. He said that these leaders had always tried to play divisive politics and are again resorting to the same but unfortunately, now there are no takers of these tactics. Urging people to not fall prey to these dirty political tactics, Suri said that thousands of lives have been lost in the Kashmir Valley but these leaders have learnt no lesson. Having tried and failed to fulfill their vested interests through People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), these very leaders are now trying to instigate people especially youth to grind their own axe. Realising that he's not getting any foothold in the political arena, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also alleged that incumbent ruling dispensation was looking at the Muslims of the country and more particularly of Jammu Kashmir with profound mistrust notwithstanding their supreme sacrifices to defend the nation. How could a former Chief Minister stoop so low as to raise issues of masses on selective or regional or religious basis, asked Suri. Raman Suri said that this speaks of frustration on the part of these leaders, who have lost their credibility and are now trying to keep their flock together especially when they stand exposed by their false and frivolous narratives about Jammu and Kashmir and it's special status. |
