Shiv Sena demands improved health services | | | Early Times Report REASI, Dec 8: Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit has demanded to improve health facilities in the government hospital of district Reasi. The demand was raised vociferously during a function with the present of president UT J&K, Manish Sahni. On this occasion Sahni reorganized the party's Reasi district unit and announced Uttam Singh as working president of district Reasi. While announcing the Block Bomag unit of Reasi district, Ram Singh was appointed as Tehsil President, Pawan Singh as Block President and Laxmi Devi appointed as Mahila Block president. While addressing the gathering, Sahni said health facilities constitute the most important segment of the basic necessities and it is an irony that these facilities are far from satisfaction in Reasi District. He castigated the government for the alleged sorry state of affairs in this sector adding that Corona crisis has exposed the tall claims of the Union government and the UT administration on all fronts in general and Health Sector in particular. Sahni said that health and trauma centre is very important in remote areas which constitute substantial part of district Reasi, he demanded improved the health facilities in the district hospital besides providing the much needed facility of trauma center to the district. Manish Sahni said that with the removal of Article 370, we had seen a ray of hope in terms of getting better health facilities, but unfortunately it continues to be far from satisfaction till date not to talk of optimum. He appealed to the Administration to take immediate measures to improve the health facilities across the Reasi District. Sahni also welcomed the dozens of new entrants into the party. On this occasion Gen. Secretary Vikas Bakshi, President Kamghar wing Raj Singh , Vice President Pawan Singh and Sumeet Abrol were also present. |
