| EICT Academy, IIT Kanpur organizes Online Programming Quiz | | | KATHUA, Dec 8: The objective of the OPQ is to provide an exciting opportunity to the students to develop competency in basic programming skills via online platform. The Quiz “Smart-Hacks 2021-22” was organized by EICT Academy, IIT Kanpur at Kathua Campus, University of Jammu, today. More than 50 students from MCA Department and University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) have successfully participated in the aforementioned event. The e-Quiz consists of multiple questions regarding C and C++ Programming Languages. Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Rector, Kathua Campus, in her encouraging comments, eulogized the endeavors of the department for being vital in conducting back to back academic activities for the welfare of the students. She further emphasized that the current circumstances faced by India and the world due to COVID-19 is a testing time for everyone and, therefore, it is a moral obligation of an academician to arrange activities that ultimately binds both academicians and students with a learning knot. Prof. Susheel Sharma, Coordinator, UIET, University of Jammu stated that such activities are extremely advantageous for the students and enthused them to showcase their volunteer participation in co-curricular activities in addition to regular academics.
