JAMMU, Dec 8: Monika Devi, the student of class 8, has brought laurels to KV Nagrota, by qualifying for the forthcoming National level of 29th National Children’s Science Congress. The focal theme of NCSC for this year is ‘Science for Sustainable Living’. Monika, the shining star of KV Nagrota gave an impressive and a tough competition tothe students of other KVs at national level of KVS NCSC held in New Delhi,as a result of which,she finally secured her place for the National level competition of NCSC. The theme of her project was ‘how to extract fibers from snake plant’ in which she also focused upon the future prospects of her findings. Dr D Manjunath, Deputy Commissioner, KVS RO Jammu, the key pioneer, played a significant role in motivating the students,as a result of which three students from Jammu Region qualified the KVS National Level and will now represent the KVS at National Level of 29thNCSC. With this, the esteemed guidance of Didar Singh Chahal, Principal and Rajinder Kumar, PGT Bio, was noteworthy. |
