| Seminar on 'Corona Management and Healthy Life Style' held | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Dec 9: A seminar on the topic 'Corona Management and Healthy Life Style' was organized in Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Thial (Udhampur) today.
On this occasion, a programme was organised under the chairmanship of the S. Anchal Singh Principal of the institution. The officials from Primary Health Centre, Thial were also present. Twelve students from different Houses of the school participated in the seminar and highlighted various measures and precautions to be followed to combat the Global pandemic Covid -19 which has taken into its grip and taken a toll of lakhs of life the world over. They pleaded for change in life style like vaccination, wearing of masks, frequent washing of hands and social distancing to protect ourselves from this pandemic.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the school, Anchal Singh appreciated the participants for taken keen interest in the competition. He exhorted them to follow all precautions to keep themselves safe from this virus. He advised them to avoid overcrowding and spread awareness about this deadly virus to all the people including their parents, neighbours and other villagers. In the competition Saloni Sharma, Ansh Sharma & Amreena Bibi won the first, second and third prize respectively. Raman Sharma(Lect Chemistry), Sudesh Kumar (Lect Computer Science) and Harpreet Kaur (Master) acted as judges to adjudicate the participants while Subash Chander conducted the proceedings of the programme. On this occasion, Ashok Sharma Sr. Lect, Madan Lal Lecturer, Rakesh Khajuria PEM and all other staff members were present. Ajay Sharma from Primary Health Centre, Thial also spoke on the occasion. Refreshment in the form of soft drinks (Real fruit juice) was also served to the students. |
