KISHTWAR, Dec 9: Government Degree College Kishtwar today organized one day national seminar on international anti-corruption day under the patronage of Principal, Prof. Anirudh Sharma.
Vice Principal, Prof. Athar Gundna was the chief guest of the event. The programme began with welcome address by convener of the programme, Prof. Yaseen Sirwal. Prof. Yaseen deliberated upon the importance of this day and the purpose of observing international anti corruption day on December 9 worldwide.
Keynote address was delivered by Prof. Musarat Mattoo, wherein he discussed in detail the ill effects of corruption in the society and the current scenario of corruption in India. As per corruption Perception Index 2020, India stands at rank 86th out of 180 nations, which is a matter of grave concern. |
