Early Times Report RAMBAN, Dec 17: In continuation of its drive against violators of the MVD rules and Covid protocols, the Motor Vehicle Department Ramban today launched a major crack down on National Highway 44 to check violation of safety rules, overloading, over-speeding and overcharging by the public transport operators. The enforcement team led by Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Ramban, Shafqat Majid, conducted a massive checking drive and seized 2 vehicles and booked many drivers under Motor Vehicles Act between Ramban-Banihal stretch. The ARTO informed that MVD team checked more than 500 vehicles, out of which 51 were booked for violation of different MVD rules.
