Ramban admin finalises modalities for observing Good Governance Week

RAMBAN, Dec 17: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today chaired a meeting of officers to discuss the modalities for observing the Good Governance Week under "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" on the theme "Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur." The week long activities would be held across the district to promote transparency in Government offices and resolution of public issues especially through online services for the convenience of the general public.
ACR, Dhrindra Sharma; GM, DIC, Vishwjeet; Deputy Director, DSEO, Ganesh Kumar; Deputy CMO, Dr Iqbal Bhat; ALC, AD Employment and other senior officers attended the meeting.
The DC directed the District, Sectoral, Tehsil and Block level officers to immediately resolve pending public grievances registered by the applicants both online and offline or any other mode.
The DC directed all officers to share success stories of their respective areas to motivate others by highlighting the same in print, electronic and social media during Good Governance Week being observed from December 20 to December 26, 2021.
Besides finalizing the activities to be organize during Good Governance week across the district by the different departments, the DC directed all the departments including Police, Revenue, Industries, Health, Jal Shakti, JPDCL, MVD, Employment, Labour, Education, Tourism Urban Local Bodies and Banks to focus on strengthening of online service delivery to provide timely and hassle free government services to people on a transparent manner at their doorsteps.
The DC also directed all the departments to launch Information Education and Communication (IEC) campaign both online and offline mode to sensitize the people about their schemes by availing online facilities besides promoting the motive of Good Governance Week among the common masses.
