UDHAMPUR, Dec 17: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib, Pollution Control Committee Udhampur conducted a polythene seizure drive under the supervision of District Officer Pollution Control Committee, Bader Hussain here at Garhi , Chopra Shop area of District Udhampur.
During the drive, about 40 kilogram banned polythene and other related materials were seized, while Rs 1200 was recovered onspot from the defaulters.
The District Officer Pollution Control Committee stated that the main objective of conducting seizure of polythene was to make Udhampur polythene free. |
