JAMMU, Dec 17: Mahatma Gandhi Sewa Puraskaar was conferred upon spiritual Guru Sant Subash Shastri in a simple but impressive program by Gandhi Global Family, J&K.
The GGF delegation accompanied by Mahant Rajesh Bittoo, Chairman J&K Cooperative Union, Advocate Poornima Sharma, Honourable Deputy Mayor Jammu, S. Jaswinder Singh Kuku, advisor GGF, Jammu and a team of young Gandhians with Rajiv Bhargava, Harish Sharma and others presented him the prestigious honor for his outstanding contributions towards nation in the field of spiritualism, imparting quality education, welfare programs, community development and a service towards humanity and animals particularly cow protection by establishing ashrams country-wide.
Bittoo described the Sant as great reformer who has given his full life into the service of mankind. Deputy Mayor read the citation of spiritual guru, Padmashri Dr. S P Varma, President Gandhi Global Family J&K described him as messenger of peace who is fulfilling the dreams of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Bharat Ratna Sarhadi Gandhi. |
