| Civil Defence programme begins at Dhounchak | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 17: A 5-day long Civil Defence (CD) basic training programme was started at Dhounchak Jodian, Tehsil Khour. The programme was organized by the Civil Defence, Akhnoor under the guidance of Commandant General, HG/CD &SDRF, J&K Jammu. The programme was inaugurated by Gardhari Lal (SSP) Staff Officer to Commandant General HG/CD/SDRF J&K Jammu. 75 Civilians from adjoining area attended the programme. The training will be given by the Civil Defence Experts on the knowledge of First Aid & Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and other basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/ manmade disaster.
In this programme, Gardhari Lal Sharma (SSP) and Anita Pawar (DySP) Incharge Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Akhnoor delivered valuable lectures on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. She urged that this training is considered to be very beneficial for the daily life of every human being. The programme was co-ordinate by Kuldeep Kour, Dy. Divisional Warden Civil Defence Akhnoor.
Besides other who were present on the occasion include Asstt. Sub Inspr. Sahib Singh I/C Trainings CD Akhnoor, Sg. Ct. Surjeet Singh Civil Defence instructor and Sg.Ct. Raj Kumar Civil Defence Instructor. |
