| Dr Daleep Pandita delivers lecture on foreign funding to NGOs | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Dec 17: On the invitation of Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udampur (SKPA) Dr. Daleep Pandita delivered comprehensive lecture through power point presentation, on the role of foreign funding to the Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that is used for abating terrorist activities in India with special reference to Jammu and Kashmir, today at Udhampur campus of SKPA.
Based on his vast experience and international exposure as former Regional Manager for Northern India of Government of India undertaking, The New India Assurance Company, Dr. Pandita deliberated upon the modus operandi used by such illegal promoters in disturbing security, safety and stability of the region. He explained in depth how these unlawful operations are being carried out by misusing financial transitions resulting in to various economic crimes, to about 30 participants comprising officers in the rank of Dy S P's of Jammu and Kashmir Police force, during this two week vertical interaction course on GO's going on at SKPA.
Role of banking and financial institutions in checking money laundering that is abating terrorist activities in J&K due to unauthorized financial transitions, was discussed in details in order to evolve comprehensive strategy in dealing counter insurgency in J & K remained the main focus of this lecture of Dr. Pandita. His lecture on such important topic concerning safety and security by tackling counter insurgency, for checking growing menace of terrorism sponsored across border, was highly appreciated by the participants of J & K Police force. |
