| NDRF organises mock drill at Govt Polytechnic College Reasi | | |

REASI, Dec 17: The 13th Battalion of NDRF organised a mock drill under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav here at Government Polytechnic College.
The event was organised in association with SDRF and Fire & Emergency Services department. During the event, locals were educated and trained to handle emergency situations arising during earthquakes and landslides. Students of GDC Reasi and Government Polytechnic College were also trained in CPR and first aid techniques.
A table top exercise was also held yesterday at District headquarters in connection with today's exercise.
Those present at the event included SSP Shalinder Singh; ADC Abdul Star; CMO Rajeev Sharma; CEO Mohd Aziz; Principal Polytechnic College Dr Vivek Mahajan; Principal Degree College Dr Chanra Shekhar and NCC cadets Incharge Lt Sunil Mangotra, besides staff of NDRF.
