Two houses gutted, three suffer damages in different fire incidents Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Dec 17: Two residential houses were fully damaged while as three others suffered damages in two different fire incidents in Kishtwar District. As per the details available with Early Times, the first fire incident was reported at Horna of Palmar block, wherein the double storey house belongs to Som Nath s /o Bhabhi Chand caught fire as a result of which it suffered full damages. As soon as the fire broke out in the house, army personnel from 17 RR along with local people and police immediately rush to the spot and started rescue operation, but despite all the efforts, the house could not be saved, but however they manage to control the fire from spreading and to prevent the loss of life. In another fire incident, residential house belonging to Nishad Ahmed s/o Ghulam Hussain R/o village Huller in the outskirts of Kishtwar town gutted completely while three other houses belonging to Nissar Ahmed, Parvaiz Ahmed and Abdul Rasheed also suffered damages. District Administration Kishtwar on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma provided relief to the fire affected families out of Red Cross fund beside also provide them blankets, ration, utensils and other daily need items. |
