| GDC Ukhral organizes lecture on career opportunities | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAMBAN, Dec 17: Govt Degree College (GDC) Ukhral organized an extensive lecture on career opportunities in civil services for the students of the area. The resource person for the purpose was Ghansham Singh (Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu), a revered son of the soil. In his opening remarks the Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Ranvijay Singh, welcomed the guest and highlighted the importance of bureaucracy and civil services for the overall development of society. The resource-person inspired the students to aim big and inspired them for choosing administrative services as their motive of life. He provided a roadmap to students for preparations of the administrative examinations. He at length talked about the interdependence of progress and bureaucracy. His views and guidance were positively and profoundly taken by the students. The vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Shafiq Ahmed Katoch. The programme was conducted by Career Counselling Cell of the host institute.
