| GDC RS Pura organizes poster making, slogan writing competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 17: The NSS unit and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club (EBSBC) of Govt Degree College, RS Pura organized a poster making/ slogan writing competition as a part of Clean India Program (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) under the patronship of Principal of the college, Prof. Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer and Nodal officer, EBSB. The theme of the competition was “Kush Yaad Unhe Bhi Karlo”. A total of 20 students participated in the competition with full zeal and enthusiasm and made beautiful and captivating posters of forgotten heroes like Birsa Munda, Udham Singh, Matangini Hazra, Durgawati Devi etc. Rohit Kumar of Semester III bagged first prize whereas Prashant Thakyal and Jasleen Kour of semester I bagged second and third prize respectively.
The event was adjudged by Prof. Vishal Sharma and Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur. The Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and lauded the students for their active participation in such activities. |
