REASI, Dec 17: The Psychological Cell of Government Degree College (GDC) Pouni, Reasi organized a poster making competition to commemorate the 50th Vijay Diwas on the theme “Indian Army is our Pride”’ under the guidance and patronage of Principal Prof. Rajni Bhagat.
The basic purpose behind organizing such activities on this day is to imbibe true nationalist values , zeal, spirits among the youth regarding the Indian forces. More than 55 entries were received from students of different colleges. Amongst all participants, Nitika Sharma of semester 3rd of GDC Pouni secured first position, Vishali Sharma 2nd position and Meenakshi Devi third position respectively.
Prof. Jaspal Singh, coordinated the whole event. Prof. Balbir Kumar, Prof. Tarseem Kumar, Prof. Rashid Iqbal, Prof. Bindu Sharma and Suresh Kumar evaluated the poster entries of the students.
Principal Prof. Rajni Bhagat appreciated the efforts of staff for organizing and the students for their active participation in such activities.
