Halted Indripatan bridge construction exposes BJP’s hollow claims of development: Shiv Sena | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 22: Shiv Sena Jammu & Kashmir has pooh-poohed the government for its tall claims about development in Jammu & Kashmir. The party came down heavily on the claims by the government during the visit of the party leaders led by the J&K UT President, Manish Sahni to the border village of Pargwal in Jammu to take stock of the construction there besides constituting the Party’s Pargwal unit. In a statement issued to media, the party President stated that while taking stock of the construction in Pargwal it was quite surprising to find that the construction of Indripatan bridge had been halted halfway for the reasons best known to authorities. He said that this amply exposes the tall claims made by the BJP and the government about the unprecedented development going on in J&K. He said that this project is pending for the last one year most probably due to non-release of funds. Sahni said that the Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone of the project in 2018. Meanwhile, Manish Sahni also announced the constitution of Shiv Sena’s Pargwal Tehsil unit appointing Vikas Manhas as President, Pawan Singh as Vice President and Praveen Singh as General Secretary.
