Dozens of youth from various villages joined the party fold today who all were welcomed by Dutta in presence of other office bearers. Dutta while addressing the party workers said that Delimitation Commission which has recently announced 6 additional seats for Jammu and 1 for Kashmir has completely neglected Akhnoor and Chhamb area of Jammu District. He said that Akhnoor and Chhamb are the two constituencies in the border area suffering cross border shelling for a long. He said geographically and as per population also this area in whole deserves one more additional assembly seat. He further said that many panchayats in Akhnoor and Chhamb are without inadequate communication and lack of public conveniences due to their excessive remoteness or inhospitable conditions on the border area. He further lambasted the local leadership of ruling BJP who failed to project the representation of the area.
