Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Dec 22: Govt Degree College Dudu Basantgarh, under the aegis of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav", organized a quiz competition on the theme "Constitution of India. Four teams of the students namely Ravi, Sutlej, Yamuna, and Tawi participated in the competition. Team Sutlej comprising of Shabnam Bano, Rabia Sultana, and Anjana Devi got the first prize. Principal of the college, Dr. Bhavnaish Chand Anthal addressed the students and threw light on the importance and significance of the Constitution of India. He further laid emphasis on the character building aspects of the Constitution and their need to inculcate in our lives. He also advised the students to study the Constitution of India so that they can know about their 'rights' and 'fundamental duties', and can become responsible citizens of the country. The other faculty members present on the occasion were Prof. Rahul Sharma, Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal, Prof. Vijay Kumar, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Aastha, and Dr. PP Singh. |
