| GDC Batote celebrates Dogri Maanta Diwas | | |

BATOTE, Dec 22: Under the aegis of “Shikshit Bharat Abhiyan” Govt. Degree College Batote organized an intra-college Dogri poetry competition today. In this competition many students recited their poetry compositions. Abishek Bagra of semester 5th bagged the 1st position, Anju Devi of semester 1st secured the 2nd position and Jyoti Devim of semester 5th secured the 3rd position. HOD Dogri Prof. Sunil Kumar delivered a lecture on the importance of Dogri language and stressed that the student community should speak in Dogri language to preserve it from extinction. All the staff members and students of the college participated in the event. Dr. Mohd Abbas Wani presented the vote of thanks. |
