| GDC RS Pura organizes awareness campaign | | | 
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 22: Eco Club of Government Degree College (GDC) RS Pura in collaboration with 2 J&K Girls Bn. NCC conducted an awareness campaign on second day of cleanliness camp in C.H.C. R.S. Pura under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The activity was organized as part of ongoing activities in ‘Clean India Programme’, under the patronage of Prof. Sunil Uppal, Principal of the college, and supervision of Prof. Shifali Abrol, Convener, Eco Club and Lt. Shaveta Choudhary, (NCC ANO). 34 cadets participated in the campaign where they raised awareness amongst the visitors and patients in the health centre regarding waste management.
They were provided information about the concept of segregation of waste at source and different methods of handling and disposal of waste. Principal of the college lauded the students for their sincere efforts and encouraged them to participate in more such activities. |
