RAJOURI, Dec 22: Department of Physics Govt. PG College Rajouri today celebrated National Energy Conservation week in the college. During the event a symposium on the topic ‘Energy Conservation & Climate change was organized in which several students of the college participated. Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina was the chief guest of the event.
In the symposium competition a total of six students of the college participated out of which Namra Mushtaq bagged the 1st Position while Shafayat Ahmed bagged 2nd Position. Head, department of Physics Dr. Bashir Ahmed presented the welcome address and proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof. Asif Ajaz Lone.
Prof. N. P. Sharma, Dr. Junaid Jazib and Dr. Gulshan Rashid were the jury members. Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina during his address appreciated the participants for their highly informative presentation in particular and the department in general. Other present in the programme were Prof. Mohd Farooq Mirza, Prof. Z.A. Mirza, Prof. Abdul Karim, Dr. Mohd Saleem Wani, Prof. Sankait Gupta, Prof. Azhar Javed, Dr. Mohd Akhlaq, Prof. Khalid Hussain Bhatti, Prof. Amjed Khan Bhatti Dr. Mohd Altaf, Prof. Javed Iqbal and Rakesh Puri. |
