| Community Mobilization Programme held in Khour | | |

JAMMU, Dec 22: A community mobilization programme for enhancement of enrolment in government schools was organized under the guidance and supervision of ZEO Khour Madan Lal Sharma.
BDC Chairman Balbir Singh presided over the function whereas many Sarpanchs and Panchs of various panchayats were also present. Master Uma Datt appraised the gathering about various flagship schemes of the central and UT government in the field of education.
In the programme, people, parents, Teachers and PRIs were made aware about the New Education Policy 2020, scholarships, government Schemes, other policies and framework. Suresh Kumar Bajaj ZEPO briefly discussed NEP 2020 and aware the people and Teachers about the pattern, objectives, aim and implementation of this New Education Policy. Many parents also spoke on the occasion and expressed satisfaction over the functioning of government schools in the zone. Chief Guest in his concluding speech urged the public to come forward and take benefit of various government schemes being provided by the central government and UT government. |
