| Kishtwar police arrested Drug paddler with Cannabis | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Jan 1: "UNDER THE BANNER OF OPERATION SANJEEVNI" Kishtwar Police continuing its war against drugs paddler and to eradicate the menace of drug from the society, today one more drug peddler arrested from New Bus stand Kishtwar and recovered Cannabis (Charas) like substance from his possession.
As per the details available with Early Times, Kishtwar Police developed a specific information of sale & Purchase of drugs in Bus stand area of Kishtwar. Acting on this tipoff a surprise naka was established near Bus Stand Kishtwar by Insp Abid Hussain alongwith his team under the supervision of Dy.SP hqrs Kishtwar Sh. Satish Kumar-JKPS.```
During the Checking Naka party arrested one drug peddler and on his personal search cannabis like substance (Charas) weighing about 30 Gms recovered from his possession and accordingly arrested the accused person on spot.
The accused has been identified as Aqib Hussain S/o Ab. Aziz Ganie R/o Gurain Kishtwar.
In this regard case FIR No. 01/2022 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and Investigation taken up. |
