Ravinder Raina visits Katra | Says BJP activists helping administration | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 1: J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina visited Katra on Saturday to take the stock of situation after the stampede at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. He said that uncountable number of devotees throng the Holy Shrine of Shree Mata Vaishno Devi to pray to the Goddess. This year also many devotees came to visit the Holy Shrine, but due to an unfortunate incident many precious lives were lost and many were injured. Sadly, the new year proved bad for those involved, and we pray for Moksha to the departed souls and early recovery for those who were injured. Raina said that the administration is probing the incident. He said that as soon as the tragic news arrived, BJP workers initiated the help needed in rescue operations. Raina said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is himself monitoring the situation and he is continuously seeking the feedback to ensure the best possible management of the tragic incident. Raina also said that BJP activists are continuously helping the administration, police and others to tackle the situation. |
