UDHAMPUR, Jan 1: National Conference (NC) District Udhampur, president, Sunil Verma accorded a rousing reception by the residents of village Manpa in Panchayat Halqa Badali for solving their long pending demands of drinking water and electricity.
Addressing the gathering, Verma said the whole area is totally neglected from last many years as no elected representative showed any interested towards the development of the area due to which people were suffering a lot for their basic needs. He added three-tier system of the Panchayats is only a hollow slogan of the government as it's a totally failed policy on ground. On the occasion, Verma listened to other problems of the local residents and also inspected condition of the link roads. He assured the people for redressel of their genuine demands as early as possible. The programme was organized by Naib Sarpanch Kuldeep Kumar, Panch Nayat Bibi and Molvi Zakir Hussain.
