RAMBAN, Jan 1: Free immunity boosting medicines were today distributed by the Department of Indian System of Medicine, AYUSH, Ramban here at village Batali. The AYUSH team also sensitized the people about the importance of Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
As per the District Nodal Officer AYUSH, Dr. Sanjay Chadha, 120 immunity boosting kits of 6 Medicines were distributed among the locals. While making people aware, Medical Officer, Dr Sayima Chowdhary and paramedical staff gave a detailed briefing on the importance of strong immunity for fighting against COVID-19.
They also informed about the initiatives and measures undertaken by the ISM, AYUSH to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. The people were advised to follow Covid SoPs including wearing face masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distance. The Doctor also urged people to take Covid 19 vaccination if due at their nearest Covid Vaccination Centres, which is the only protection against the deadly infection.
