Enforcement teams recover Rs 36, 400 fine from violators | 2174 children vaccinated in Ramban | | Early Times Report RAMBAN, Jan 3: As many as 2174 children were vaccinated on the first day of the launch of Covid vaccination drive for the 15-18 year age group here across the District Ramban. As per District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department administered the vaccination to 2294 people including 2174 children in 15-18 years age group which includes 600 in Medical Block Banihal, 876 in Batote, 435 in Ukhral and 263 in Gool. As per CEO, Ramban total target of the district is 19268 in 15-18 years age group. Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance. The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 36,400 Taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 78,95,700. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC. As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, the Health Department has collected 2516 samples including 618 RT-PCR and 1898 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 2294 persons at dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district. |
