JD (U) urges LG to mitigate sufferings of daily wagers | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 3: JD (U) State General Secretary Sanjay Dhar, Vivek Bali State Secretary J&K, PL Pandita Chairman Migrants J&K and Gohar Wani State Spokesperson today said the government has failed to address the sufferings of daily wagers and other appointees in different departments. These leaders also said LG administration has failed to address the mitigation of the problems of daily wagers who only depend on earnings to feed their families in this crucial time. These leaders also said "It is unfortunate that the LG government is not releasing wages to those daily wagers who are working in different departments. Although these people basically work with zeal and zest for running the departmental tough works." These leaders request the LG Administration that the long pending demands of those daily wagers who are working in different departments may be considered as soon as possible, with issuance of their regularization and till their wages require to be enhanced enabling them to feed their families in the present hard times. Besides the Chairman J&K Migrants has appealed the UT Govt to announce earliest creation of Police Battalion among low qualified youth with relaxation of appointment norms for migrants. Further he has requested to issue appointment orders of class IV candidates selected by SSRB during Oct. 2021 under PM package. |
