JAMMU, Jan 3: On the directions of District Police Headquarters Jammu, Civil Defence (CD) wardens were deployed for Nagar Kirtan duty on the eve of birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh. Under the supervision of Anita Pawar Dy SP, Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu 50 CD wardens were deployed and kept under the disposal of SP City North and South Jammu for further deployment in connection with crowd control management as per ground requirement. The Civil Defence wardens were deployed at Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Chand Nagar (Below Gummat), Swami Vivakanand Chowk, Gummat Crossing, Vinayak Bazar, Dogra Chowk, Bikram Chowk and Asia Hotel. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden CD Jammu, R. Vijay Mangotra Dy Chief Warden CD Jammu, Sub Inspector Ram Dayal Saini and Civil Defence Instructor Parshotam Kumar were also included in the deployment. |
