COVID-19 vaccination drive held at SIPS | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 3: The UT level COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for the children in the age group of 15-18 years initiated by the government was carried out in Stephens International Public School (SIPS). The students born before 1st January 2007 were vaccinated with Covaxin during the event. The guidelines issued by the government regarding the drive were shared beforehand with the students. The drive was inaugurated in the presence of the Principal Ram Parkash Sharma, the Administrator Rama Jamwal and the Headmistress Shweta Bakshi. Due care was taken by the school management as well as the medical team to carry out the drive observing COVID appropriate behavior like use of sanitizer, social distancing, wearing mask etc. Excellent response was received from the students as well as their parents. ''The vaccination drive is the need of the hour" the parents said and they were grateful to the school management for such a tremendous support. The vaccination drive will continue for two days i.e. on 3rd and 4th January. The students have been urged to join hands and make the best use of the drive to get themselves vaccinated. This initiative was highly lauded by the Chairman of the School Dr Kamal Saini, IGP(Retd), and the Director, Satvinder Saini. |
