Dozens join Shiv Sena in Doda

DODA, Jan 3: Impressed by the activities and policies of Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit, dozens of people from Block Bala of Tehsil Bhaderwah in District Doda joined the party here today. On the direction of party state president Manish Sahni, a small but impressive program was organized at Bala Gram Panchayat under the leadership of state Vice President Natwarlal Raina, Prabhari Ashwani Prabhakar and Doda District President Vinod Kotwal. About 50 local youth and women impressed by the party's work and policies joined the party. Vinod welcomed them with the party symbol and Shiv Bandhan. While announcing the office bearers of Bala Block Unit, Vinod Kotwal appointed Naib Sarpanch Davinder Kumar as President, Panch Ramesh Lal as General Secretary, Naresh Kumar, Praveet Kumar and Kuldeep Kumar as Vice Presidents and Madan Lal, Rajindra Kumar, Sanjeet Kumar and Naresh Kumar as Secretaries. Raj Devi was appointed President Women's Wing, Rajni Devi, Paritama Devi, Anita Devi and Pushpa Devi as Vice Presidents and Bittu Devi as President Youth Women's Wing, while Kanta Devi, Bala Devi, Rano Devi were given the post of Secretary. Shiv Sena leaders expressed their condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic accident at Mata Vaishno Devi Darbar and also observed a minute's silence. State vice-president Natwar Lal instructed the Shiv Sena's block team to remain active on the ground and raise their voice on the public issues.
