JAMMU, Jan 3: A Nagar Kirtan was organized to celebrate the forthcoming Parkash Purab of Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Guru of Sikhism who laid down his own life and sacrificed his father, mother and sons for the sake of humanity and protection of right cause of community.
The Nagar Kirtan started from Gurdwara Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Chand Nagar, Jammu and while marching through Dogra Chowk, Bikram Chowk, Asia Hotel, Green Belt Park Gandhi Nagar, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Road, Gole Market and culminated at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Nanak Nagar, Jammu. A large number of devotees participated. |
