BSS Panjgrain distributes clothes among needy people | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 3: The J&K branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) today distributed warm clothes to several underprivileged families in its Panjgrain Ashram, Nagrota. Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta was the Chief Guest while as CSS Regional Passport Officer J&K, Nishith Kumar Shil and Station Director, Jammu Tawi Railway Station, Mahesh Yadav were the guests of honour. Earlier, all the dignitaries in presence of Swami Satyamitrananda Secretary of Jammu Branch and other members of BSS performed Pujan in the temple of Bharat. The clothes were distributed among the needy by Swami Satyamitrananda. Gupta said that the initiative for providing warm clothing to poor and needy sections of the society during extreme cold weather and other activities of BSS highlight and reinvigorate the ethical traditions and serve as a guiding force for the betterment of humanity. He appealed to the Sangha to continue its humanitarian services for the disadvantaged sections of the society. |
