| Urban Local Bodies Joint Coordination Committee appeals admin to solve issues of employees | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Jan 3: Urban Local Bodies Joint Coordination Committee has appealed the LG administration to solve the long pending issues of the employees of the local bodies department. The Committee said that despite putting in best efforts over the years the government has not fulfilled the long pending demands of Local Bodies employees. A meeting of Urban Local Bodies Joint Coordination Committee was held here and during the meeting the problems being faced by the employees of the department were discussed threadbare. The participants of the meeting said that no step has been taken by the people at helm to regularize services of casual and consolidated workers as well as employees of the department. The participants of the meeting said that they worked in difficult conditions like 2014 floods and COVID-19 but still then the government has not regularized the services of casual and consolidated workers of local bodies department. They urged the leadership of Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) to intervene in the matter and impress upon the government through protest to fulfill long pending demands. |
