PPDM FC lifts Mini Football Champions Cup | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 13: Pt. Premnath Dogra Memorial (PPDM) FC lifted Mini Football Champions Cup by defeating Udhampur City FC with a solitary goal. The final match between Pt. Premnath Dogra Memorial FC and Udhampur City FC was played in the presence of Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma, who was the chief guest on the occasion. President Mini Football Association J&K (MFAJK) Devashish Sharma, General Secretary MFAJK Manik Bandral, Vice President Pranav Bandral, Treasurer MFAJK Arjun Sharma, Sr. Manager MFAJK Kuldeep Singh, Manager MFAJK Dalip Singh, Ansh Gupta, Faizan Mirza, Anirudh Gupta and other members of MFAJK were also present. The match between the two giants was officiated by Shubham as the Centre referee along with Arjun Sharma and Faizan Mirza as the line referees. Alyas's single goal after 5 minutes of the start made PPDM FC took the lead through 1-0, who rifled the ball into the lower right corner with a powerful right-footed strike in the 5th minute of the first half. During the second half, both the teams locked horns but not goals were scored by the either side which ultimately led to the victory of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Memorial with a score of 1-0 in the final match of the Mini Football Association's New Year Champions Cup 2022. After the match, the Winner and Runner up teams were awarded medals and trophies by the Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma. The leading goal scorer award in this year's tournament was given to Devashish Sharma with 9 goals. He was also named the man of the match. |
