Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 14: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Amit Gupta inaugurated lane, drain and tiles work near Gummat Fish Market in Ward19 at the cost of Rs 8 lakhs. Speaking on the occasion, Councillor Amit Gupta appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by it within Jammu city. He urged upon the residents to avoid using single use plastics, polythene in their routine work and not to throw debris, garbage or filth in drains, lanes and nallahs. Amit Gupta asked the residents to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city. Local residents including Rajesh Gupta, Raju Sharma, Rajiv Gupta, Bharat Bhushan, Madan, Anil Gupta, Bitti, Pawan, Bharat, Sachin, Sunil and others were present on the occasion. |
