| GDC Paloura organizes “Surya Namaskar” | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU,, Jan 14: Govt Degree College (GDC) Paloura conducted virtual Surya Namaskar on the occasion of Makar Sankranti to offer gratitude to ‘Mother Nature’ under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The staff and the students’ along with their family members participated in Surya Namaskar. The Surya Namaskar is done as a salutation to the sun to express gratitude for the energy it bestows upon human beings.
Prof. Ramneek Kaur, Principal of the College, congratulated staff and students on the occasion of Makar Sankranti and highlighted the importance of Surya Namaskar in the overall well being of the individual. She stressed upon everyone to include Surya Namaskar in their daily routine as it develops immunity and improves vitality. The whole programme was organized by NSS unit of the College and was coordinated by Dr. Shivani Sharma, NSS Programme Officer. |
