AISF demands height relaxation to Dogra aspirants in JKPSI recruitment | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 17: All India Students' Federation (AISF) today demanded the height relaxation for Dogra aspirants of Jammu region in the recruitment of Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub-Inspector (JKPSI) by stating that the maximum population of community is short in height. As per statement issued to the press, the State President of AISF Jammu and Kashmir, Sanjay Kotwal said that the people of Jammu, specially the people of Dogra community are short in height. They have caliber to be in the race but due to non-availability of any special reservation in the recruitment of JKPSI, they lose the opportunity. Kotwal said that earlier the Government of Jammu and Kashmir used to provide the Dogra Certificate to the candidates who belong to the Dogra community for recruitment in belt forces but now it seems that the same has lost somewhere. In previous JKPSI recruitment, a large number of Dogra aspirants were rejected due to their short heights, he added. "We demand from the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and also the head administrator, LG Manoj Sinha to look into the matter and provide height relaxation to the JKPSI Dogra aspirants," he said. |
