14-yrs on, Mankote-Choi village awaits road connectivity | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 19: Residents of Mankote-Choi village have demanded that the construction of the road taken up some 13 years back in 2008 should be taken to its logical conclusion so that the people of the village and adjoining ones are absolved of the daily problems. The residents of the village said that for the past 13 years they have been waiting for any authority to come and order for the construction of the road. They said that they have been ditched by the previous governments adding that same is the case with the administration led by LG Manoj Sinha. The residents said that in 2008 they offered their land for the construction of the road with the hope that their problem of connectivity would be solved once for all. They urged the LG to take personal interest in the matter and take steps for the construction of the road. |
