SRINAGAR, Jan 21: A 48-year-old head constable of the Railway Police (GRP) was killed when he was hit by a train in Kashmir on Friday, officials said.
They said the GRP head constable Mohammad Hussain Dar was hit by a train near Awantipora - Panzgam railway station in south Kashmir and he died on spot.
The train which hit the policeman was on its way to Banihal Railway station from Budgam. A police official confirmed the death of the police head constable. |
