| Dilapidated roads, choked drains mock smart city claims in posh Gandhi Nagar area | | |

Jammu, Jan 21:Much to the surprise that Jammu is going to be a smart city in near future yet the claims fall flat because the posh area like Gandhi Nagar sans the basic infrastructure of roads and drains right from the District Police Lines onwards sources said here today.
Some prominent locals of the area while talking to Early Times alleged that this area is a posh locality of Jammu city in name only but the condition of roads is so dilapidated and the drainage system is total failure here."You see the condition of shaheed Major Ajay Singh Jasrotia Marg which speaks volumes of official neglect",they added.
In a similar way, same was the condition of other lanes and by-lanes of the area. Somewhere it was seen that lanes have got choked and some where cracks and pot-holes have been developed on the main roads giving a tough time to commuters while plying on these roads along with their vehicles. In a would be smart city if infrastructure of an already posh colony is like that of present Gandhi Nagar area then what to say about Jammu Smart City.
