Early Times Report RAMBAN, Feb 4: District Institute of Education and Training, in coordination with the Education Department, has launched 'Padhe Bharat- 100 Day Reading Campaign' in which a huge number of students from across the district Ramban are participating. The programme is being organised by the School Education Department, under the aegis of GOI's PADHE BHARAT- BADHE BHARAT program. Principal DIET, Banihal, Dev Anand informed that the Ministry of Education & Literacy launched the "Padhe Bharat Campaign- 100 Days Reading Campaign" on January 1, 2022 and weekly activities calendar released by the MoE will be implemented during 14 week's programme. He said that the programme aims to develop "foundation literacy and numeracy" among the children from the class Balvatika to 8th and to inculcate Joyful Reading Habits in students. The campaign envisages to involve all stakeholders including parents of students, sisters , brothers, uncles, Retired teachers , administrators, PRIs, volunteers and college. Chief Education Officer, Ramban, VK Koul said that the campaign was receiving good response from the public as well as students .The Covid has disturbed everything in the class learning system. It will be a new ray of hope for the student community and it is in consonance with NEP, 2020, he added. Nodal Officer for Padhe Bharat Campaign, Mohinder Kumar Goswami informed that adequate number of teachers have been deputed to make 'Padhe Bharat- 100 Day Reading Campaign' successful. |
