| CITU leaders visit Srinagar acid attack victim at SHMS Hospital | | |

SRINAGAR, Feb 4: Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) leaders Abdul Rashid Pandit, Wahid Sultan Dar and Syez Aizaz Abidin today visited the Srinagar acid attack victim at SMHS hospital and enquired about her health condition.
Terming the incident as inhuman and barbaric, they said that such incidents have no place in a civilized society. The perpetrators don't deserve any clemency and should be given exemplary punishment. They urged the administration to provide specialized treatment to the victim and a government job. They also appealed to the civil society for introspection and stressed the creation of a women friendly environment. |
