| GDC Kathua organizes programme on World Cancer Day | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Feb 4: In order to create awareness in the students and society regarding cancer disease, NSS unit of GDC Kathua under the patronage of in-charge Principal Prof Raj Kiran Sharma organized a programme on World Cancer Day in virtual mode today. In this connection an online Poster Making Competition was organized.
The theme of the poster making was "Close the Care Gap". The people were made aware of how to identify the symptoms of cancer, educate people, as well as to prepare government and non- governmental organizations to help in fighting this deadly disease all over the world. The NSS unit of GDC Kathua celebrated this day under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.
Volunteers prepared posters containing messages of awareness regarding Cancer and also appealed each one from the entire world to participate in the awareness campaign. The entire event was organized under the supervision of NSS Programme officers Prof Manmohan Singh, Prof Ritu kumar Sharma and Prof Neha Bandral. |
