| Army conducts lecture on "World Cancer Day" | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Feb 4: On the occasion of the "World Cancer Day", Indian Army conducted lectures at Lehran and Kalaban today to educate the local populace on the causes, effects, prevention and cure of the disease. Medical Officers from the Indian Army explained about various types of cancers and the need to lead a healthy lifestyle through a balanced diet, regular physical activity and weight management in order to reduce the risk of its occurrence. The lectures were followed by an interactive session in which the attendees were given full opportunity to clarify their doubts about the disease. The Awaam population attending the event expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army for educating them on the various aspects of Cancer. |
