JAMMU, Feb 10: Scores of people including women join Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in a meeting held in Jammu East Assembly Constituency.
The programme was organized by Darshana Kumari, President Mahila wing, Jammu East Constituency.
Farooq Ahmed Banday, Co-Convener, Jammu Province, Ram Singh Chauhan, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, Media Incharge, Jammu Province and Amit Langer, Incharge Jammu East Assembly Constituency were also present on the occasion.
Welcoming new entrants into party fold, the senior AAP leaders said that the AAP is serious to give a clean and time tested alternative to the electorates in J&K UT to get rid of 74 years of misrule of corruption, nepotism, casteism and divisive politics. They also appealed the youth and women to come forward and join and support AAP for a clean and pro-people government for dramatic change on Delhi pattern.
The AAP leaders further said that the AAP has taken its birth to the service of common man, the workers, laborers and exploited class of the society.
They congratulated Delhi people for their wisdom and foresightedness who voted Kejriwal. They further said that because of Kejriwal's popular initiatives in Delhi, almost all political parties across 5 states going for polls in February & March are promising to dole out Delhi pattern of public initiatives.
