UDHAMPUR, Feb 10: All J&K Non-Gazetted Horticulture Employees Union (NGHEU) held election for the posts of the president, vice president and other office bearers for Udhampur district unit in which Sanjeev Singh was elected as president while Rajinder Singh was elected as the vice-president.
Sanjay Kesar elected as Advisor, Sunil Sumbria as Secretary, Kanhiya Chanyal as Publicity Secretary, Ankush Gupta as Cashier, Kamal Singh as Organizer and Vikas Sharma as Deputy Cashier under the supervision of Provincial President Jammu Sanjay Khajuria in which U.T president Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, UT Vice President Mohd Maqbool participated as chief guest. The other U.T Executive members who participated included Chief Organizer Farooq Ahmed, Gen. Secretary Showkat Ahmed, Provincial President Kashmir Mohd. Amin Dar, Sheerz Ahmadand Fayaz Ahmad.
"We will work together with UT Body for Pay Anomaly, Amendment in Recruitment Rule (SRO-235)," Sanjeev Singh said during the meeting.
All J&K NGHE Union also requested the Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha and Principal Secretary to Horticulture Naveen Kumar Choudhary to intervene in the long pending demands of Horticulture Department such as pay anomaly, amendment in SRO 235, amendment in BHT/BSc. training policy and regularization of Casual/Daily wagers. Rakesh Sharma, Sandokh Singh, Roshan Lal, Akshey Kumar Sharma, Yash Pal, Seva Ram, Saraj Din, Vinod Kumar, Neema Devi, Sahil Sharma, Karpal Singh, Parveen Kumar, Harnam Singh, etc were present on the occasion. |
